Position Overview: Provide exceptional customer service, create floral arrangements, and maintain shop aesthetics
Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, provide recommendations, resolve complaints professionally, and accurately process POS transactions

2. Floral Arrangement: Design arrangements and bouquets to shop standards and customer specs, maintaining knowledge of current trends
. -
3. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of flowers and supplies, and assist with receiving, processing, and storing flower deliveries
. -
4. Sales and Marketing: Promote and upsell items (vases, cards, gifts), assist with social media/events, and regularly update attractive seasonal displays
. -
5. Shop Maintenance: Keep the work and sales areas clean, organized, and visually appealing

Qualifications

Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (floral/horticulture training a plus); previous flower shop, retail, or customer service experience preferred

Skills & Abilities: Strong communication skills, creative eye for design, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, basic computer/POS skills, and physical capability to stand extended periods and lift/handle flowers

Working Conditions & Benefits

Working Conditions: Full-time or part-time (including weekends/holidays) in a flower shop environment with varying temperatures due to flower storage
