The public is invited to attend the Geneva League of Women Voters April luncheon presenting Anthony Perdigao, Plant Manager of Zotos International. Mr. Perdigao will discuss the company?s proposal to install two windmills on its Forge Avenue property to provide electricity for its plant operations and contribute to the City?s energy needs. Zotos is seeking City Planning Board approval and has been working with area residents and the Geneva Housing Authority to address concerns about noise and visual impact.
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
