You are invited to attend our Winemaker's Dinner on Saturday, February 14th at 6 pm. Locally renowned Chef Brud Holland has created a 5-course dinner paired with Fox Run wines. The menu, infused with local ingredients, includes;
Course 1: Cheese Sampler—First Light Lemberger brined cheddar, aged goat cheese, baked Kenton’s Bianco, Red Buddy fondue with fresh breads.
Wine Pairing — The Hedonia Cocktail, styled for the occasion
Course 2: Honey cured, grapevine smoked scallops — breaded and fried, Verjooz dressing, warm apple & kale salad
Wine Pairing — 2011 Blanc de Blancs
Course 3: Brisket turnover with pickled onion and beet inside, bacon hash, Cabernet Franc/ Lemberger plum sauce
Wine Pairing — 2012 Cabernet Franc Lemberger
Course 4: Square cut pork loin and pork sausage duo, carrot & celery root butter
Wine Pairing — 2011 Reserve Riesling
Course 5: Chocolate custard, chocolate nut cake, Preliminaires Chocolats
Wine Pairing — Ruby Port
This event is being offered to guests at $85 per person (plus tax and tip). Wine Club members will receive 10% off.
