Celebrating 40 years in 2025, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards is a seventh-generation family winery built on land first farmed by David and Clarissa Hazlitt in 1852. In 1985, Jerry and Elaine Hazlitt founded the winery to preserve their heritage during a regional agricultural crisis, launching with the now-iconic Red Cat wine.
Today, Hazlitt is a Finger Lakes staple known for a diverse portfolio that includes world-class Rieslings, Cabernet Francs, and award-winning Solera Sherry, alongside their popular Cider Tree hard ciders. Operating across two locations in Hector and Naples, NY, the family continues their legacy of ''great wines and great times'' with an unpretentious, friendly atmosphere.
