About Us

The Geneva Red Wings are a summer collegiate baseball team competing in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL). Playing out of the historic McDonough Park on Lyceum Street, the Red Wings host elite college athletes from top programs across the nation every June and July. Beyond high-caliber, wood-bat competition, the franchise serves as a cornerstone of local summertime entertainment in the Finger Lakes region—delivering affordable, family-friendly fun, community outreach, and economic support to Geneva area businesses. Rich Local Tradition: Baseball in Geneva dates back to 1854, giving the city over 170 years of rich baseball heritage. Before the Red Wings era, McDonough Park hosted decades of professional minor league baseball, serving as an affiliate for major league organizations—most notably a long-standing partnership with the Chicago Cubs through the 1970s and 80s.
