Charlie’s Canine Camp is looking for a dependable, hardworking, dog-loving individual to join our team as a Camp Counselor!
This is a hands-on position that plays a vital role in keeping our camp clean, safe, and fun for every pup in our care.
Responsibilities include:
• Cleaning and sanitizing play areas, kennels, and facility spaces
• Safely handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Feeding dogs and following individual care instructions
• Sending dogs home and communicating with owners at pickup
• Supervising play groups (based on experience and training)
• Supporting the overall daily operations of camp
Hours needed:
• Tuesday: 11am–4pm
• Wednesday: 11am–4pm
• Thursday: 11am–7pm
• Friday: 9am–5pm (may adjust slightly)
• Some Sundays may be available
Starting Pay: Minimum wage
Raises are possible after 90 days based on performance, reliability, and growth.
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working around dogs all day
• Able to stand, move, and clean for extended periods
• Calm, attentive, and safety-focused
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Experience with dogs is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
