WorkKeys® Career Readiness Credential

90 minute workshop focusing on how WorkKeys® is being used to measure "real world" foundational skills that are critical to job success. Hear from one of the region's largest employers, Guardian Industries, how WorkKeys® has been implemented and what their return on investment has been.
Developed by ACT, the WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is an industry recognized, portable, evidenced-based credential that certifies essential skills needed for workplace success. This credential is used across all sectors of the economy and verifies cognitive skills including:
- Problem solving
- Critical thinking
- Reading and using work-related text
- Applying information from the workplace documents to solve problems
Attendees will learn how:
- Employers can use WorkKeys® to screen applicants and find the right workers for jobs at all levels, as well as make decisions about training and advancement of current employees.
- The savings of implementing WorkKeys® in your workplace far out weighs the costs in bringing in predictability, uniformity, and certainty to the hiring process.
- Finger Lakes employers have been using WorkKeys® in building their workforce.
