The Women’s Council of the Geneva Historical Society will present the 43rd annual Wassail Bowl and Sale on Saturday, December 3, from 10am to 2pm at The Presbyterian Church, 24 Park Place in Geneva.
The sale includes fresh wreaths and greens for the holiday, including kissing balls, table decorations and tree ornaments. Handcrafted items, baked goods, and attic treasures will also be for sale. Wassail, a traditional spiced cider, will be available for tasting at the event. Admission to the Wassail Bowl and Sale is free of charge.
The Women’s Council also sponsors a Wassail Bowl raffle. The prizes this year include: dinner for four with a bottle of wine at Halsey’s Restaurant, a gift basket from Harry and David compliments of Phelps Sungas, a basket of Finger Lakes Wine, and a Mr. Coffee service with Keurig brewing system and coffee, compliments of Lowe’s Waterloo. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 12 tickets for $10 and are available at the Historical Society office at 543 South Main Street or at the Wassail Bowl sale.
