Time Banking is a service exchange program that builds community by valuing people’s time equally and helping them connect with others to accomplish a goal or exchange services.  Time Banking founder Dr. Edgar Cahn is visiting Geneva March 26-28, in conjunction with Geneva’s Community Read.  (https://sites.google.com/site/genevareads/home/community-read/events) His visit will help expand the reach of the Geneva Exchange TimeBank (http://geneva.timebanks.org/) throughout our neighborhoods and community.

Tuesday, March 27, 8-9 a.m., Geneva Community Center, 160 Carter Road, Coffee and Conversation with Edgar Cahn and Geneva Exchange members (For anyone interested in learning more about Time Banking in Geneva.)

 

Tuesday, March 27, 12-1:30 p.m., Neighborhood Lunch with Edgar Cahn at the Geneva Neighborhood Resource Center, 105 Seneca St; entrance is under the grapevine staircase.  Conversation will be focused on ideas and possibilities of Time Banking in Geneva's Neighborhoods.  Please RSVP to serve@hws.edu. (The Lunch will be catered by "Pure Grill and Curry" and provided by HWS Colleges.)

 

Tuesday, March 27, 7:00 p.m., in the Geneva Room in the Warren Hunting Smith Library on Pulteney Street, Dr. Cahn will speak as part of the HWS Colleges’ Engaged Citizenship series on Co-Producing Justice and Cultivating Community: Time Banking and System Change.
