Keuka Spring Vineyards to Host Red Wine & Chocolate Event as part of Wine Education Series Keuka Spring Vineyards will host its annual Red Wine & Chocolate Tasting Saturday, September 22. The event features chocolate desserts paired with select Keuka Spring red wines. Among the items featured in this year’s tasting are Chocolate Decadence cake and Seneca Salt Bark, a dark chocolate bark accented with Seneca Salt made locally. The tasting will feature some of Keuka Spring Vineyard’s Reserve wines, of which a number have earned Gold Medal status.
Guided tastings will be held in small groups on the winery’s terrace overlooking Keuka Lake (weather permitting) at 1:00 and 3:00. Each tasting will last about 1 hour. Reservations are recommended. (Walk-ins will be accepted on a space available basis.) The $15 fee (case and wine club members $12) covers the dessert and wine pairings and a souvenir wine glass. The event is the fourth in the winery’s wine education series. Next in their wine education event is their Holiday Barrel Tasting on December 1 & 2.
