CELEBRITY WAITER EVENT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR LOCAL FOOD BANKS!
On February 22nd, Madderlake Cafe will be holding a benefit dinner to raise funds for two local food banks. From Geneva, we have chosen the Center of Concern, a food pantry and retail store that provided meals for 3,540 families in 2008. From Penn Yan, we have selected Milly’s Pantry (www.millyspantry.org). We are also pleased to recognize the donation of fresh produce for the evening by Bejo Seeds on Pre-Emption Road in the Town of Geneva.
The evening will feature “celebrity guest waiters” such as Mayor Stu Einstein, Dean Eugen Baer (of Hobart and William Smith Colleges), Dustin Cutler (owner/baker normal bread), John Martini (Anthony Road Wine Company), and Susan Atkisson (Keuka Lake Coffee Roasters), locally sourced foods, and the opportunity to support your community! There will be a competition among the waiters for raising the most funds. So, when you make your reservation feel free to request the waiter of your choice!
We will be donating a percentage of our sales for the evening, and all gratuities will be shared between the two charities. The Geneva Center of Concern would appreciate any food donations (see list below). Join us in cheering on your favorite waiter and enjoying a wonderful dinner in the name of community spirit!
