Memorial Butterfly Release

Ontario-Yates Hospice, a program of Finger Lakes Visiting Nurse Service presents: “Wings of Hope” a Memorial Butterfly Release Saturday, September 10th, 2:00 p.m. Ontario County Courthouse, Main Street Canandaigua. The Memorial Butterfly Release is an opportunity to allow members of our community to gather and celebrate the lives of those they have lost. The ceremony will include music, inspirational messages and a public reading of the names of those being remembered. The celebration also allows for a better understanding of the specialized care Ontario-Yates Hospice provides to patients and their families. The event is free and open to the public; last year more than 400 individuals from the community attended. Butterflies are $30 each.
