Program: Five Pervasive Myths About “Arab Spring”, with Dr Stacey Philbrick Yadav, Geneva resident and Assistant Professor of Political Science, at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
Stacey Philbrick Yadav, who is the coordinator of Hobart and William Smith Colleges' Middle Eastern Studies program and an Assistant Professor of Political Science, has been conducting field research on the building of cross-ideological opposition alliances in Yemen, Egypt, and Lebanon since 2003. As events in the region have escalated over the past eight months, she has been a frequent guest on National Public Radio and contributor to Foreign Policy, Christian Science Monitor, Middle East Report and other media venues.
