"The Lurking Devil of Murder" by Kevin Andrew Cotter A true crime narrative that follows the extraordinary journey of young Charles J. Eighmey. The story unfolds in the Finger Lakes region of post-Civil War New York State. The reader begins their odyssey on July 2, 1874, the day Eighmey is accused of assaulting his employer.
