Literacy Volunteers 11th Anniversary Adult Spelling Bee
CANANDAIGUA, NY – Spellers and sponsors are needed for the upcoming Literacy Volunteers Adult Spelling Bee.
The 11th Anniversary Adult Spelling Bee will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday Feb. 10 at Canandaigua Academy. The bee is Literacy Volunteers of Ontario-Yates’ signature fundraiser and a fun way to support the only adult literacy organization in the central Finger Lakes.
“It is a great mix of fun and academics, said Chris Gerling, president of the LVOY Board of directors. “It is our core fundraiser.” Entry fee starts at $300 to field or sponsor teams.
The event is open to the public.
