GENEVA BID ANNOUNCES LIGHT UP GENEVA AUCTION DETAILS

Geneva, N.Y. (October 18, 2011) -- The Geneva Business Improvement District (BID) has begun planning the Annual Light Up Geneva Auction.

November 17, 2011 from 5 pm to 8 pm at 537 South Exchange

(One Franklin Square), ground floor, Geneva

Refreshments with hors d’oeuvres, silent auction and live entertainment performed by Knock it Off ,  and violinist Trevor Burrall will take place from 5 pm to 7 pm. The live auction, led by Joe Hessney, will take place at 7 pm.

            Proceeds from the auction will benefit holiday decorations and beautification efforts in downtown Geneva. Last year the BID was able to purchase 25 snowflakes, with money raised.

The 2011 Light Up Geneva Auction Committee consists of Larry Wetherbee, Rob Sollenne, Laurie Anderson, Ann Johnson, Elizabeth Rollo, Lori Guinan, Rita Bailey, Shari Cardinale-Bruzee, Steve Chilbert, Holly Wilcox, Lynn Anania, Ron Telarico, Bob Stivers, Kate Decker, Megan Stivers, Shannon Combs, Collette Barnard, Kim Kochin, Michelle Easdes, Sharon Thomas
