The History behind the “Psycho Hotel”:
The “Psycho Hotel” is a story that took place at a hotel on 149 Exchange Street, Geneva New York in October of 1909. The hotel usually catered to a transient population of rough, out-of-luck men and women. One night, a dazed and blood covered psycho by the name of Charles stormed into the hotel. People ran, but the hoe he carries rose and fell shedding blood that some say still stain the walls. Later, the Geneva Gazette would reveal that Charles had attacked a farmer outside of the town earlier in the day with the blade of his hoe. Dr. Howe of Phelps was summoned and, upon examination, found that the hoe had penetrated the brain in two or three places. The neck was also cut in several places so the victim suffered from heavy blood loss. Mayor Walter Clark was horrified and ordered the police chief to stop the fiend. That night many a brave men dies trying to subdue Charles. As the death toll mounted, Charles began to use fire to fight his attackers and finally, engulfed by his own flames, he ran screaming form the building to the lake. His body was never recovered. Over the years many strange occurrences have happened in the hotel where Charles the psycho rampaged. It all occurred in October and occurrences are strongest near the anniversary of the first event. That anniversary is October 15th so enter if you dare, but beware...
