The 2012 Geneva City School District student art show will open Saturday, April 21 at the Geneva Historical Society. The show will include works by students at West and North Street Elementary Schools, Geneva Middle School and Geneva High School. Students' work will be displayed in two galleries.
An opening reception will be hosted by the Catharine Foster Hopkins Art Reading Club on Saturday, April 21 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the museum.
The last day to see the art show will be Saturday, May 12. For more information, call the Geneva Historical Society at 315-789-5151.
The Geneva Historical Society is located at 543 South Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 1:30 to
4:30 p.m. Admission is free. Parking is available on the street or in the lot at Trinity Episcopal Church.
The Geneva Historical Society receives major funding from the New York State Council on the Arts, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the Town and City of Geneva.
