To celebrate Earth Day and prevent ID Theft, the Finger Lakes FCU and the UPS Store have joined together to provide free paper shredding service on Saturday, April 19th, at The UPS Store located in the Liberty Commons Plaza at 789 Pre-Emption Road, Geneva.
Protect yourself; don’t make it easy for thieves to get your confidential information. Safeguard your identity by shredding papers containing personal information-particularly Social Security numbers, credit card offers, and statements. It only takes seconds to shred, but months or even years to clear your record once scammers set up fraudulent accounts in your name.
In order to accommodate the many who attend, we ask that guidelines by observed:
· Hours of shredding on site are from 9:00 PM – 3:00 PM
· First 50 lbs. FREE. Regular rates apply for each additional pound after 50 lbs.
· No plastic bags
· Please use returnable boxes or containers
