FLFCU Hosts Free Financial Education Seminars

FLFCU will hold two free financial education workshops, Checking 101 and Solving the Mystery of Credit Reports on Wednesday , May 26th at 23 Seneca Street, Geneva from 5:30PM to 8:00PM. The event is open to the public.

? Checking 101 ? 5:30PM ? 6:30PM
This work shop covers such fundamental as keeping track of checks, monitoring statements and balancing an account.

? Solving the Mystery of Credit Reports ? 7:00PM ? 8:00PM
This workshop covers what should and shouldn?t be included on a credit report, the role of credit bureaus, what factors impact your credit score, specific guidance of disputing inaccuracies, improving a credit score, dealing with identity theft and fraud.
