Celebrating honesty and growing up, ArtsPower National Touring Theatre presents “Fish Face” at 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., January 30, on stage at the Smith Opera House.
Adapted from the popular series "Kids of the Polk Street School" by two-time Newbery Honor-winning author, Patricia Reilly Giff, this delightful musical addresses both the importance of bridging gaps between apparently different people and the ways to be one’s self -- even one’s best self -- without expecting to be perfect. It is recommended for children in grades 1-4.
This hour-long show is open to all school audiences and the general public. The afternoon performance will be followed by a question and answer session with the production's cast and crew.
"Fish Face" is part of The Smith’s 2007/08 "ArtSmart Theatre for Young People Series." Other shows in the series include "If You Give a Pig a Party" (March 6), "James and the Giant Peach" (March 12), and "Harry the Dirty Dog"(June 4).
