Hospice Wine Maker’s Dinner: Mark your Calendars for the Annual Spring Hospice Dinner and Auction at the Esperanza Mansion! This year we will feature a Wine Maker’s Dinner and Auction on Friday, April 25, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. at The Esperanza Mansion in Yates County. This festive event will include an excellent four course dinner, each course will be served with wine from either Rooster Hill Vineyards, Glenora Winery, Dr. Frank’s Vinifera Wine Cellars, or Hunt Country Vineyards. The event will highlight a silent and live auction featuring a variety of original works by local artists, original glass vases, one of a kind jewelry, wines, wall art, celebratory baskets and much more. Tickets are $60 per person. All proceeds raised at this event will benefit Ontario-Yates Hospice, a program of Finger Lakes Visiting Nurse Service. Many times insurance does not cover the entire cost for care and our important fund-raising events help to bridge that gap. Hospice is a philosophy of care for people who have made a conscious decision to focus on the quality of life during their final days and not to pursue curative treatment for a life-limiting illness.
