Since their conception, El Ka Bong has opened for several national acts including John Browns Body, Gym Class Heroes, Ra Ra Riot, Government Mule, Umphrey's McGee, Donna the Buffalo, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Dr Jah and the Love Prophets, and the Mambo Kings.
