Darwin is a Progressive Alternative Indie Trio from Geneva NY.  Join us on Saturday September 17th for the Debut of Darwin in the Finger Lakes.

Biography:
Darwin is the exciting, new followup project from former El Ka Bong members Laura Black and Zach Schoonover. After their departure from the band, the duo began composing songs by combining live instruments with digital counterparts. The result was an unconventional stew of music that snares listeners with creative hooks, funky beats, and thought provoking lyrical melodies.

As their repertoire grew,... it became obvious that in order to perform live, the pair would need to recruit a drummer.

Upon returning from the University of Buffalo with a Bachelors in Psychology, longtime friend and musical collaborator Adam Fryer agreed to take on the job.

With a solid drummer in the pocket, Darwin began to rehearse the songs they had once programmed into a computer. They aim to produce the most engaging, entertaining, and dance worthy material of their careers.
