Each summer, two local college students are hired to direct a small company of high school actors in a play for audiences of young children (between five and ten years of age) and senior citizens. The Players then tour the three county area in late July and early August, giving between twelve and fifteen free performances at parks, playgrounds, day care centers and nursing homes.
