The Geneva Historical Society’s new program, Community Conversations: Dialogues About Geneva History, will kick off this spring with an exploration of the history of the city’s Jewish community on Saturday, March 24 at 12 noon at Temple Beth El. Following a brief overview of the community’s history, we will open up the conversation to questions, personal stories, and observations from people in attendance. Participants are welcome to bring documents, photographs or other materials related to the Jewish community to share. This program is offered in collaboration with Temple Beth El and is open to the public. Visitors are welcome to attend the congregation’s Sabbath service at 10am, preceding the program at 12noon. Refreshments will be served.
Reservations are not required for the program, but if you are planning to come, please call the Society office at 315-789-5151 to help us get a head count.
