The Geneva Theatre Guild will be holding auditions for AVENUE Q at Trinity Church (520 South Main Street, Geneva), May 22 & 23 at 7:00 PM. Wear comfortable clothes for dancing and bring a prepared song to sing (accompanist provided). Puppeting will be part of the audition (puppet provided).
We are seeking to cast at least 3 Men and 4 Women (Up to 5 Men and 5 Women) for AVENUE Q.
Please keep in mind that AVENUE Q has strong adult themes, and actors must be willing to be open to joking about subjects like sex, racism, and poverty.
Roles available for:
BRIAN: A laid-back guy married to Christmas Eve. (Baritone)
CHRISTMAS EVE: An Asian therapist who moved here from Japan. (Mezzo-Soprano)
GARY COLEMAN: Yes, that Gary Coleman. He lives on the Avenue, too. He's the superintendent.

KATE MONSTER: A Kindergarten teaching assistant, a bit older than Princeton. (Mezzo-Soprano)
LUCY: A vixenish vamp with a dangerous edge. (Alto - Belting)
MRS. Thistletwat: Ancient, Kate's boss. (non-singing)
NICKY: A bit of a slacker, who lives with Rod. (Tenor)
PRINCETON: A fresh-faced kid just out of college. (Tenor)
ROD: A Republican investment banker with a secret. (Tenor)
THE BAD IDEA BEARS: Two snuggly, cute teddy-bear types. 1 female voice (Mezzo-soprano) and 1 male voice (Baritone)
TREKKIE MONSTER: A reclusive creature obsessed by the Internet. (Baritone)
Avenue Q The smash-hit Broadway musical about real life in New York City, as told by a cast of people and puppets through a hilariously irreverent, Tony-winning book and score is GTG's summer musical to be directed by Steve Duprey. The performance will be at the Smith Opera House July 19-21 at 8pm and July 22 at 2pm.
