The Antiques Club of the Finger Lakes hosts a program on Reclaiming Old Wood on Thursday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Geneva Historical Society, 543 S. Main Street. The speaker will be Jered Slusser, a national salesman for Pioneer Millworks based in Farmington. With a BFA in interior design, Slusser helps customers navigate the choices of flooring and millwork products.
Pioneer Millworks works with architects, designers, builders, and homeowners to create flooring, millwork, paneling, timbers and more, all crafted from fine salvaged wood in North America. These products include wood flooring, millwork, paneling, timbers, cabinetry, doors, tables and table tops, retail fixtures, trusses and timber framing.
The public is welcome and admission is free. Refreshments will be served following the program. The Antiques Club of the Finger Lakes includes residents of the Finger Lakes with a common interest in antiques, collecting and local history. Programming includes lectures, demonstrations and occasional visits to local history sites.
