The Women?s Council of the Geneva Historical Society will present the 42nd annual Wassail Bowl and Sale on Saturday, December 4, from 10am to 2pm at The Presbyterian Church, 24 Park Place in Geneva.
This is a great opportunity to get fresh wreaths and greens for the holiday, including kissing balls, table decorations and tree ornaments. Handcrafted items, baked goods, and attic treasures will also be for sale. Wassail, a traditional spiced cider, will be available for tasting at the event.
The Women?s Council is also sponsoring a Wassail Bowl raffle. The prizes this year include: a free portrait sitting and one 8x10 portrait from Neil Sjoblom Photography, a one-night stay for two at the Chapman House Bed and Breakfast, a $50 gift certificate from Port?s Restaurant, and a basket of Finger Lakes Wine. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 12 tickets for $10 and are available at the Historical Society office at 543 South Main Street or at the Wassail Bowl sale.
