The Agriculture Council of the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce and the Cornell Cooperative Extension present:
On-Farm Tourism: Improving Agriculture Awareness and the Farm's Bottom Line
Tourists in teh Finger Lakes are quite eager to get to know how farms are run. Your farm can be a good setting to help tourists and local residents learn about agriculture and become loyal customers. In this workshop, we will look at how bus tours creat beneficial opportunities for your farm. We will also review liability and insurance considerations and how to set up a budget to make a profit.
