Learn the basics of using a computer and the Internet, including using email, producing a resume and using a spreadsheet. A series of five Saturday afternoon classes for adults are planned at the Geneva Public Library. Each of the classes is “hands-on” and limited to nine students. Adults may register for each of the classes separately, choosing to attend just one or several classes.

Free Internet programs and the differences between Windows XP and Windows Vista will be explored. Students will use programs similar to Microsoft Office that are available free on the Internet, such as Zoho.com and Google Docs. Some prior knowledge and use of the computer and Internet is required.
