SUMMARY:Geneva Theatre Guild holding auditions
DESCRIPTION:Auditions for The Wedding Singer will be held on May 26 & 27. Auditions for this show will be held at 7pm at the Smith Opera House. Actors should come prepared to learn a song and where clothes that allow them to move freely. The show takes place in 1985 and rockstar wannabe Robbie Heart is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party\, until his own fiance leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart\, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia\, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. Only trouble is Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark\, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade\, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever. Roles are available for adults of all ages. This production will be directed by Pam Rapoza and Music Director Annie Bachman. Show dates are August 14-16 at the Smith Opera House.
