DESCRIPTION:Normal\n  0\n  \n \n\nDiego Ruiz of Stereoscope Journey will present a program on Stereoscopic (3-D) Photography on Thursday\, October 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Geneva History Museum\, 543 S. Main Street\, Geneva. The program\, sponsored by the Antiques Club of the Finger Lakes\, is free and open to the public.\n\nDiego and his wife\, Kari (a plein air painter)\, have been traveling the country and the Finger Lakes region with tools in hand creating stereographic documentation of the culture of each region.\n\nThrough extensive study\, Diego has improved on a photographic process that dates back to the 1830s\, leading to the release of multiple 3-dimensional books and the start of the stereoscopic New York Waterfall series.\n\nOn October 23\, Diego walk us through a collection of Finger Lakes region images\, and it will become clear just how important it is to keep projects like these alive for future generations. Attendees will be able to view the projected presentation in 3-D with the provided special glasses. Books will be available for purchase at a discounted price.\n\nThe Geneva History Museum is handicapped accessible. Refreshments will be served. Come and enjoy a beautiful recreation of an early American pastime.
